Reading materials
Use text and documents that you are allowed to access and process. Importing a document does not grant rights to publish or redistribute it. Keep the notices supplied with downloadable shelf books and check the conditions that apply to your use.
Check extracted text
PDF extraction and OCR can omit, reorder or misread words, punctuation and numbers. Compare important passages with the original and use the correction tools before relying on the result. The current OCR targets printed text and is not a dependable handwriting transcription service.
Reading measurements
WPM is a timing calculation. The practice questions give feedback on the particular passage and answers, not a standardized measure of general comprehension. A selected RSVP pace does not guarantee a reading improvement. Choose normal mode or a slower pace whenever it suits the material.
Keep your own copies
Save deliberately and keep backups. Browser storage can be cleared, unavailable or limited; the website cannot retrieve a local library that has been deleted. Keep the original documents as well as exported reading backups.
