Why readbooks.in combines a simple RSVP reader, real books and comprehension practice, and how its reading tools work.
readbooks.in is a browser reading tool built around a quiet, fixed-position RSVP display. It also offers normal reading, PDF and EPUB imports, printed-text OCR, corrections, saved readings, bookmarks and reading practice.
Speed together with understanding
The goal is to let you explore a comfortable pace and see what you understood. Twelve original practice passages include three authored questions each. For your own books, use section summaries or your own questions to check understanding. readbooks.in does not promise that using RSVP will multiply your reading speed while preserving comprehension.
A reader for your own text

How these guides were prepared
The guides explain readbooks.in’s implemented controls, worked calculations and extraction limits. They were prepared with AI assistance and checked against the application’s behavior and linked sources. They are not presented as independent research or an expert assessment. If you find an error, contact us with the page and correction.
Open-source foundations
PDF extraction uses Mozilla PDF.js; printed-text recognition uses Tesseract.js; EPUB archives use zip.js. The interface uses Roboto Mono. Distributed engine, model, font and book notices are retained with their assets.
The optional classic-book shelf credits Standard Ebooks. Its editions are distributed under their accompanying notices; availability of a work can depend on where you are. See Using readbooks.in.
