Tata Consultancy Services released its results for the quarter ended 30 September on 8 October. The company reported revenue of 7.642 billion US dollars, up 0.2% from the preceding quarter and 2.4% from a year earlier in dollar terms.
Its operating margin was 24%, and net profit was 1.45 billion dollars. TCS also reported 1.2% quarterly growth in international revenue when measured at constant exchange rates. That measure reduces the effect of currency movements on comparisons.
The company put its annualised AI revenue at 3.1 billion dollars. This is an annualised measure, not the amount of AI revenue earned in the quarter. Management described demand for AI-related transformation and cybersecurity work as businesses invest in new systems and digital resilience.
