HCLTech reported net profit of ₹5,132 crore for the second quarter of financial year 2026–27, according to earnings reports published on 12 October. The result was approximately 21% above the same quarter a year earlier.
The profit increase was about 11% against the immediately preceding quarter, a different comparison from annual growth. The company also declared an interim dividend of ₹12 per share alongside the results.
The report adds to the picture emerging from India’s technology-services earnings season. Quarterly performance and shareholder distributions are separate from the company’s newly announced Anthropic partnership, which concerns plans for enterprise AI services rather than already realised earnings.
