Google announced the US launch of Universal Cart across Search and the Gemini app on 15 October. The feature lets shoppers collect products from multiple retailers in one place instead of maintaining separate lists while browsing.
According to Google, the cart can track price reductions, identify relevant promotional codes and suggest payment options. Shoppers can complete supported purchases using Google Pay or continue to the retailer’s own website to finish an order.
The announcement describes a US rollout and company-stated capabilities. It does not confirm availability in India or guarantee a particular saving on a purchase. The original launch date is preserved for this addition to the reading archive.
