ICICI Bank reported profit after tax of Rs 14,843 crore for the quarter ended 30 September, up 20.1% from a year earlier. Its board approved the quarterly accounts on 17 October, according to the bank’s exchange-filed announcement.
The lender reported core operating profit of Rs 20,805 crore, an increase of 21.8%. Period-end deposits grew 27.1% and the total loan portfolio rose 30%; the filing also provided lower growth comparisons excluding specified foreign-currency deposit-related balances.
The net non-performing asset ratio stood at 0.30%. The announcement distinguishes standalone measures from consolidated accounts and states that statutory auditors issued an unmodified limited-review report. These are reported financial results, not a forecast of subsequent market performance.
